Putting the single out 6 days early was bad enough. Like Edge of Glory, to might just have to sag a bit between stan purchases and radiopromo support. The official add date is 8/20 I believe but if radio programmers see that it's not as strong digitally as expected, they won't pick it up quickly. And God only knows what the VMA's can do. Katy and Robin are performing and I think they'll end up with the biggest boost in the end. The video really is the only saving grace right now. And the VMA's are the only largely watched awards show until November when the AMA's happen. Useless TV promotional spots won't do anything. MAYBE SNL. Maybe. Her video is her actual advantage. kupo 201 Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 The VMAs will definitely "boost" pretty much everybody who performs, but depending on what actually goes down, it certainly isn't necessarily a wash.
