Like, is YouTube able to distinguish which views are from which country and then only count views in the USA toward the total points that a song receives? No, only Us views. And that will be somewhere like 1/3 from all the views. Maybe more, maybe less. At this point, Gaga is behind Katy by half on radio, so her being behind by half on iTunes makes sense as well. And Katy was the one with like a week long radio deal, so... Thanks. I just hope it tops Judas' all time sales of 900k or whatever it was. That'll be embarassing There is now way that this sell less than 2m. People, the music video isnt even out and she has less than a half of the radio support that Katy has. Her only promotion outside of Internet was 2 radio interviews. That means that there is a big room to grow from here. Mess @ the radio deal thing. Not to mention, Katy has a radio deal for the entire week. Gaga doesn't. And even when her radio deal is over, she'll have a massive drop due to the 8th day effect. I'm not sure if it was mentioned before, but Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven" had a disastrous first week selling only 91K.
