ALX 170
I don't know where fans pulled Circus from It sounds so lame following strong words like Asylum and Coven. I'd rather see something like American Horror Story: Side Show or Freakshow I'm sure in the 2nd to last and last episodes we'll get hints although I'm not sure where that was confirmed this season
DontDoubtDavid 1,191
But then why don't they use those "gifts" instead of trading their souls to papa Okay, this is how I understand it: Back in the 1800s, Marie Laveau was a powerful, yet mortal, voodoo queen. She wanted to live eternally, so she summoned Papa Legba to give her immortality in exchange for her soul. When she made the deal, however, she was unaware that she had to sacrifice babies. To get revenge on Madame LaLaurie for what she did to the slaves, she gave her a vial of her tears, which made LaLaurie immortal. Papa was not involved in that, so LaLaurie still has her soul and has no deal with Papa. Edited January 9, 2014 by DontDoubtDavid
BRANDONJ93 0
So Misty is gonna raise Luke from the dead and he'll complete the seven wonders. Seems like a good ending. You couldn't put it in a spoiler!!!?? Smh

So then couldn't Laveau give anyone (like Fiona) those vials to make them immortal? and if she made immortal Bastien and Lalaurie, does their immortality depends on Laveau's stolen babies? Ryan Murphy wtf did you just do You couldn't put it in a spoiler!!!?? Smh Luke has been dead since before that last episode though :P + I think it was just a joke Edited January 9, 2014 by Memo

Swim Deep 0
I *think* she had to sell her soul initially for immortality and she retains it by giving him a baby or some other soul every year This. Marie, being a cocky voodoo queen just took immortality without thinking it over. He then surprised her a year later when he came to collect the first innocent soul payment which Marie clearly didn't go into when she originally accepted the deal. Marie said that he appeared to her I think, not that she summoned him, so therefore he probably just offered it her, which she immediately took, without questions. ALSO, about the vial of tears thing, Marie said she couldn't use that on Fiona because it wouldn't stop the cancer, it would just keep on wearing her down and making her weaker and weaker past the point a normal human could live by so immortality would just be more of a curse than a cure. I guess Legba's immortality would've stopped the cancer?
NewYorkCity 10,530
I need more What I don't get is the difference between Papa's inmortality and Laveau. I mean, Lalaurie was still with the same aspect as she was 200 years ago... (?) Fiona could just get that, she'd be bald but meh. oh and I really like the circus theme, if it's true. Circus has a lot of possibilities in everyway (including the imagery) for terror

The imagery alone could be terrifying just like Asylum's set there is something about a circus gone wrong that intrigues me. I would like to see a name like AHS: Freakshow though. MegaMiles 0
Paul Murphy said expect two shocking deaths and Luke's mother, Nan, and Misty died. That means Misty is coming back? And why did Luke's mother have him creamated? That kind of goes against the whole Christianity thing of people waiting for the "resurrection of the dead" thing. Papa Legba was a great addition for the episode :legend: Edited January 10, 2014 by MegaMiles
