Gaga Succeeds In Having Lawsuit Sealed, Documents To Remain Hidden

I'm kind of glad that no one will ever know. Especially if it could damage her career..

But I can't help but think that it's something that would make a lot of fans lose respect for her. And that's unsettling. That's the only reason (I think) that she would want something to be kept secret.

Of course I'm curious, but I wouldn't want anything from her past to surface.. and ruin everything she's worked so hard for. Especially if she regrets what she did.

I really think it could be posturing or bluffing, or maybe even positive spin since the album is out soon.

Look at it this way: the judge himself/herself had access to whatever was in there and deemed it not that bad. If Stefani Germanotta had murdered Lina Morgan as the conspiracy whacko theorists claim, no judge worth his salt would allow a murderess to seal her own past away. It's probably a lot of boring financial statistics or possibly details of her and Fusari's relationship or other stuff we really aren't dying for lack of knowing.

if it was serious, her request would have been denied.

This sounds 100% logical and I dare I say, some people might be let down knowing this is probably all there is to it.

I'd rather pretend that this never happened and we never knew anything about this case  :coffee:

I'm happy for her anyway :) Let's all forget and move on

It probably details the specific relationship she had with Fusari at the beginning of her career. We all know how desperate she was to get into the business......

I honestly don't care. I don't find this lawsuit to be interesting or intimidating one bit. If Gaga doesn't want anyone to know it then we should respect her choice and move on.

So i'm going to continue to invest my money into an artist that is hiding something that would make me change my opinion of her? If she is being dishonest about something so massive it could damage her career. That is unsettling to me in my book.

True, but at the same time it's not something she's doing as we speak and then hiding. It's something from her past that she probably regrets. What's important is who she is now, and I think we should respect that she's worked very hard to build her career and doesn't want any nasty info from her past to ruin it all.

Of course they slept together! Big deal! He was a handsome fellow and it helped them both. But who really cares? Both Gaga and Fusari are very talented, and we have a lot to thank them for.

Let them keep thier private lives private.

If I slept with the same man who produced Destiny's Child, to help kickstart wonderful dopamine and endorphins that helped us both write some amazing songs that helped change the world --- I wouldn't care.

Paparazzi will remain one of her most legendary hits -- impossible for us to have without the mentoring of Fusari's experience and talent.

Let Gaga keep her court records sealed. It's her life, not ours. Who's to say if we were standing in her shoes that we wouldn't want to keep our privacy too?

She may have just said it would be career damaging when it really isn't. great headline, great buzz (we are all talking about it now, aren't we?) and it's all a moot point because NO ONE can get in there now!

That's the funniest thing to me - people believing this big secret is that she killed Lina. Like, do they seriously believe she would be foolish enough to ask a judge to cover up a murder for her?

"Judge? Yeah, hi. Listen... I'm gonna need you to skip over that little bit about me killing that woman and stealing her identity. My fans wouldn't think that's very Born This Way of me."

Gaga always succeeds at this stuff, I am not surprised at all.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I didn't in any way suggest that it's negative. I'm saying it because maybe Gaga does regret it if that is the case.

We'll find out all the details in about 20 years when Gaga is releasing acoustic retrospectives and collaborating with Blue Ivy.

I can wait until then. *sits patiently*

" -------- she is hiding a deadly secret," I did not mean she killed someone. I meant she is scared to death this secret would end her career and which she would loose her lavish lifestyle as well. And I am sorry -  but your post does not make any sense.

Good for her, if it's something that could damage her career, it involves a bit of her personal life too, I'm sure of that. She(and other celebs), will always have a right to keep their personal details secret, so I'm happy to see it might never get out

And so what tbh? If it involves details that she never wants to get out, good for her, I don't delude myself that she's purer than pure and she might have done some unsavoury things to get ahead in life. It bothers you so much, then you might have to learn to deal with it.
