Everyone is entitled to their own opinion therefore people are allowed to think which era was her best. IMO Gaga gets better with each album however I do think there are pros and cons within each era with any artist. I've been a fan since early Fame era in the top of 2009 so I enjoy seeing her grow whether it be bad or good. The Fame was pretty good with promo, performances, music and music videos. The fame monster is quite overrated in my opinion, the music and music videos were amazing however some of the outfits were either really good or really messy. The performances in the fame monster era we're horrid in my opinion. I only enjoyed about 3 performances out of the 7 performances. Promo wise the fame monster was pretty boring and I remember hating the gap between music videos. The tour was amazing but I honestly had more fun at the monster ball 1.0 show more than the monster ball 2.0 show. Born this way was an amazing album but the era itself was slightly disappointing in my opinion however I'm not going to exaggerate and act like the WHOLE era was roadkill. Born this way is still my favorite music video and Judas was amazing too. The born this way era had some really great performances but also some boring performances but promo wise it excelled but I was very angry when you and i became a single. I think ARTPOP is going to be one of her best eras since its very promising and I love that she never moves backwards, she always moves forwards and I'm glad she's never dwelling towards her past eras of which fans favor. She even said she's not reactionary and I'm glad she's not kissing any ass. I think we need to have more faith in her. I honestly don't care about other fan opinions, I only care about mines so at the end of the day I only rely on myself.
