Dylangaga

I repeat, the Alejandro Video. Did you seem to magically forget all the controversy over her wearing a latex nun's outfit? Or The Gun bra? (Which was also featured on the Cover of the Rolling Stones...which also caused some controversy) I remember people getting very upset by her 'swallowing' the rosary in the video as well.

LoveGame: Making out with the female officer during the breakdown of the song. The parts showing her being naked exposing her self to the two men sitting with her--literally.

Poker Face: 'Bluffin' with my muffin', 'Russian Roulette is not the same without a gun" Gaga stated she was glad a radio station (I don't remember the name) bleeped out the ending p-p-poker face due to it being f-f-**** her face.

VMA's 2009: Bleeding from the chest, hanging at the end of the performance.

Telephone: Her Lady Parts hanging out when she climbs the bars of her jail cell.

Vogue Japan: The Meat Bikini

The whole 'penis' discussion. She added to this by putting a dildo in one of the outfits she wore in Glastonbury and strutting around the cameras.

The fact that Gaga came out of nowhere and did amazingly well in means of charting number, digital, album, and single sales.

I recall of the things has either major or minimal controversy. All of which, aren't from the Born This Way Era :)

I'm not saying Gaga is the name of controversy. However, don't claim Gaga was only controversial in the BTW Era.

ahh and i remember all of this!

I think Posh Life is the kind of songs she prefers to produce and write other than the songs she made in ARTPOP which are probably meant to be HITS.

Most people like POP hit songs, and that is why she keeps writing them as her main albums.

Maybe ARTPOP will try to ombine what she loves with what is Popular...ART..POP..

Your choices of words were WAY less than friendly. No, I did not "magically forget" any of that. Calm yourself. Yes, the Alejandro video was controversial, but I didn't touch the subject because YOU WERE RIGHT. Dear Lord. Regarding the other things:

LoveGame: Pretty sure that has been done before or had at least been done similarly before. It's not that controversial.

Poker Face: Those lyrics are pretty tame. Not very controversial. And honestly I never noticed the lyrics sounding like "f--k her face" until now. They obviously are masked enough to be played by countless radio stations without worry.

VMA's 2009: I wouldn't really call that controversial. It was talked about because it was impressive. I don't recall there being outcries and anger due to the blood.

Telephone: Again, near the end of The Fame Monster era.

Vogue Japan: The Meat Bikini. I'll give you that one, just because of PETA. I'll also agree with the dildo outfits.

Album sales being controversial? Listen, you must not understand the meaning of controversy.

Controversy: A dispute, especially a public one, between sides holding opposing views.

Dispute: An angry altercation; a quarrel; to argue about; debate.

Gaga's definition of controversy is much more extreme it seems. She wants at least one side of the argument regarding her actions to be angry. She wants to evoke contempt and derision.

I hope you don't respond with derision yourself, which you did the first time and I did not appreciate in the least bit.

BY THE WAY: I did not say that Gaga was only controversial during the Born This Way era.

"Lady Gaga is not the meaning of controversy  :fail: She only really became controversial with Born This Way."

As in that's when she really started to cause controversy at a level that she wanted.

Me and my cousin were arguing about if Nicki Minaj or Gaga were better and the argument lasted about 20 minutes because I told her there was no comparison. Her defense was that she doesn't here gaga on the radio any more but she hears nicki and I just cant wait till ARTPOP comes and her VMA performance to prove her wrong  :miley:

I know Posh Life is very different from what ARTPOP is going to sound, but I just can't stop replaying it    it is so good to listen to new Gaga

It makes me even more excited to listen to ARTPOP. If she can make something as good as Posh Life for other artists, she must have some really outstanding songs getting ready for us on ARTPOP  :flutter:
