While I love and respect every persons right to state their opinions and such, Im beyond done with how media and former fans have attempted to bash Gaga in many different ways this year. From the cancellation of the flawless BTW Ball (I can call it flawless bc I saw it live in Dallas), to the hearings involving her former personal assistant, to whether she really had surgery or not, to whether ARTPOP will flop, to Bjork did an app first, so on and so on. Look, behind Lady Gaga stands Stefani and I dare any other artist or person on the planet to reveal their mistakes. I'm sure she's made some. She isn't perfect. When I get into a relationship with another, it's oftentimes their imperfections that I end up loving the most. The Born This Way album was a worldwide smash. It just was. The numbers speak for themselves. It doesn't matter if they "should've been" bigger than Fame era. Check out Madonnas numbers for her Erotica era...and most fans, myself included, call it her best! The deal with her assistant is none if my business so I don't give two mules and a cow about that. The Born This Way Ball was a huge success...I think it just had too many tour dates. I worried about Gaga by the end if the Monster Ball Tour. I thought she was pushing it all too fast, too quickly so I also don't care why she cancelled the remaining BTW Ball dates. I'm glad she had a good period to sit down and I don't care if she sat in gold while doing so. The inevitable backlash is just that....inevitable. What's cool is she already knew that. She's already spoken of the Phoenix rising. She's ahead of the game and there's power to respect in that! I'm on the edge of my seat, hand over mouth in anticipation for what's in store. Regardless of what it sells, how it breaks boundaries...is moot. It's her time to shine again. It's a new era. And it will slay regardless because its Lady Gaga with the knowledge that it's time to rise. And rise, she will.
