If you look closely, those shoes can be worn in 2 positions, and there is a shoe sole for one of them, the one were the biggest spike becomes horizontal  :)

They're actually not meant to be walked in, solely supposed to be used for photos

I love her heels because it's what defines her, small, tall, heelless anything she knows how to create a sense of passion through what she wears!

I don't like these, but I also feel that they don't suit the music of ARTPOP.
