Or at least during the next week MTV is going to announce their performers pretty soon, and I'm sure that if anything's coming next August, the following couple of weeks are the best time to make an announcement. From 1984-2003 they alternated between LA & NYC; in 2004 & 2005 they were held in Miami; 2006 NYC; 2007 Las Vegas; 2008 LA; 2009 NYC; 2010-2012 LA; This year in Brooklyn.
