Tommymonster44 0 Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 since generic songs are on their way out I predict an underperforming era for Katy Gaga will make REAL EDM mainstream (like she did dance pop back in '08) because she's influential and impactful oh and she'll collect her SIXTH IFPI entry I don't think generic songs are out of style. It's the high-tempo massive dance songs that are going out of style on Chr. People seem to think that if you have a mid-tempo song that limits it's use of electronic synths, then it suddenly become meaningful. That isn't the case, but consumers do buy that message. To me, Katy and Ke$ha aren't any more generic than what's currently on the charts. I'd also like to see how much the 'genericness' of the music affects it while charting. He said "basic" so yes TF 2.0 I can't believe Bieber is already moving onto his next album.
