I knew Miley would succeed with her new song ! I'm really proud of her tbh. You guys hate it so much because it was so different, a bit of a throw back at the beginning of 2000 with a more urban song. Miley succeed killing entirely her Hannah Montana image and build her own image, her own style and attitude. She looks more confident than ever, she's getting controversial yet you know she clearly knows what she's doing (she's not pulling a Lindsay Lohan of herself).

I'm really not a fan of her but TBH I've listen to We Can't Stop so much. It's so raw and smooth, perfect for the summer. No useless stuff, just a smooth honest party on d--g song.

I must say I'm impress and she is smashing right now. I'm glad she does she truly deserve it.

.

i have been out of it lately :ohno:

I hope the song does well. I Need Your Love was a sizable hit for what it's worth [i hear it all the time on the radio, btw] and Anything Could Happen went Platinum so let's hope this one can go Top 20. It definitely fits radio well.

How much did Halcyflop sell? :emma:

It went platinum in the UK, but sold around 250K here. Not too bad considering we only got one single, which was pulled from radio early.

not Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey selling almost as much as Right Now by our generation's biggest popstar with 40 mil difference on radio :dead:

Do you think Right Now will smash ? I don't know, it's so different than what's on radio now. And it's really ****ing noisy and unoriginal, recycled Guetta trash tbh.

No, but it might just grace the top 40 and the #navy (phuck yo life btw) will argue that it's "A Top 40 smash" :emma:

If I wake up tomorrow and Blurred Lines is back to doubling WCS on iTunes, I'm going to cringe.

Not gonna lie... As much as I don't care for Blurred Lines, I think it's a better song than We Can't Stop.

I don't know why but I've been HOOKED on We Can't Stop lately. It's a mediocre song, but I love it anyway.
