Dreaming of Miley peaking inside the top3. :flutter:

I think the ARTPOP lead-single will probably be the next smash hit after Blurred Lines. Hopefully it happens. The summer would be perfect with a LG smash hit.

I think that's possible now..

As for ARTPOP, that's certain success if we're talking about the lead single..

True. the 2nd and 3rd best selling digital song this year so far are only 3M seller, they might hit 4M soon but I guess it's not difficult for Gaga to catch that up, unless, she'll do again an unpleasing video for the GP (  though I'm a Gaga fan so I appreciate BTW video artistry).

This year single sales are quite low if you ask me. Other years at this pint we had 5-6 million sellers :nails:

I know I have said this a million times but I can't stand Blurred Lines and I don't understand the success of it.

How come i'm yet to see an ATRL thread on TFM updated numbers?

Anyway, i can't believe Same Love (a indie explicit gay rap anthem) is being loved so much on the US radio. It's so great  :omgexcited:

Exactly. Even the album sales aren't that huge, compared to the first half of the last two years. I could no longer wait for the record sales to make striking progress once the new eras for Gaga, Katy, Britney, Beyonce, Eminem, (continuation of) Justin Timberlake kick off later this year.

We need big stars to comeback and boost sales. I'm tired of 2 years of  one hit wonders (2012- 2013, so far)

So Gaga can easily surpass her with ARTPOP !? 6,7 + 2.3 = 9M (without remix albums, Holiday EPs and etc) I Really hope ARTPOP will sell atleast 2M in the USA :)

Most likely. With only 4 major releases, Gaga could match Rihanna's total album sales.

And for the sake of comparison, I also noticed that Justin Bieber is nearing to 10 million album sales in the US too from his six major releases (including chart-topping remix albums). As of April 2012, he has sold 8 million albums in the US alone, according to Billboard. And that's before the release of his Believe album which has now sold over 1.3 million copies. Meanwhile his 2013 album, Believe Acoustic, is estimated to have sold more or less 500K since its release. No wonder why his label keeps releasing new albums every year. His annual release has indeed paid off, similar to Rihanna's.

With that said, I could actually see these three surpassing the 10 million mark by the end of 2013. The exciting part would be determining who among them is gonna do it first.
