Mills 446
Ahmmm.. i think you're the biggest Imagine Dragons stan here. :) I really like Radioactive, and I guess you're really proud of its chart success esp. the longevity it is having rn. They're my favourite band right now, along with Bastille. I'm glad that their music (both Imagine Dragons and Bastille) were introduced to me this year. I'm also hoping Bastille would be able to at least follow the current mainstream success of Imagine Dragons in the near future. Both of their debut studio albums, Night Visions and Bad Blood, just captured me in the same way on how The Fame made me interested to Gaga. I find it quite coincidental to become a fan of these artists because of their debut studio efforts.
Mariano 958
24 Wake Me Up (+2) :omgaga: its already on top in the rest of the world omgggg avcicii SMASHING :excited2: Music preferences are purely subjective. For instance, Vanilla's Ice Ice Baby was a HOT 100 #1 back in the 1990. Others find it catchy. Others find it embarrassing. Same could be said to the thousands of chart-topping singles released since the inception of the Billboard charts or music-based charts for that matter. I'd rather not discredit today's consumers with regard to which music materials for them are good enough for a purchase. I mean, for me personally, I find the singles Lose Yourself by Eminem, We Belong Together by Mariah Carey, Umbrella by Rihanna and Jay Z, and of course Poker Face by Gaga as among the greatest chart-topping records I've ever heard. And all of these singles were released in the 2000s decade. And if we talk about the chart-toppers from this current decade, We Found Love, We Are Young, Rolling In The Deep, and Just Give Me A Reason are actually not that bad, well at least for me and the people across the globe who purchased and supported those songs. totally agree with you ! Emvee 7,885
With the exception of WCS, Cruise, and that Fall Out Boy song, the itunes top 10 is pretty good. Rooting for Same Love! Hopefully it's just as much of a smash as TS and CHU, they'll release more singles like White Walls and Neon Cathedral. Maybe it's not single material, but I'm obsessed with Neon Cathedral. I'm also looking forward for these bands to rise again. I remember those times when I was into alternative/rock artists before the RnBs. I actually know some of them like Faber Drive, Boys Like Girls, Secondhand Serenade, My Chemical Romance, The Script, etc.. and now Imagine Dragons... Dangerous Man 9,245
Like really, because she is a girl? Well, I don't really mean it. But ya know, we can't deny the fact that racial and gender discrimination and favoritism is still happening even in the music industry. I remember those times when I was into alternative/rock artists before the RnBs. I actually know some of them like Faber Drive, Boys Like Girls, Secondhand Serenade, My Chemical Romance, The Script, etc.. and now Imagine Dragons... Their album is climbing on my albums playlist charts. My favorites are Radioactive and Demons. 50 Ke$ha - Crazy Kids I can smell a sleeper hit... Please make this happen. Ke$ha needs to smash. They're my favourite band right now, along with Bastille. I'm glad that their music (both Imagine Dragons and Bastille) were introduced to me this year. I love Pompeii, but the album, I'm still not digging them because I'm not a fan of male vocals, but I know that after few listens, I will like the album. I'm getting obsessed with Macklemore. The album is just pure perfection Yes. It's such an amazing album. Most of the tracks have this catchy choruses. My favorites are Gold, Same Love and Make the Money.
