BTW going #1 on radio while peaking at 109.8M is like HIAM going #1 while selling less than 1.6M.

Thanks for reminding me of the floppage.

Americano

They are not low, but they are relatively low comparing to other top 40 artists such as Bruno, Katy, LMFAO, Adele, JT, Rihanna etc.

Plus she had three radio flops (inb4 someone comes here and argues with me saying that Y&I wasnt a radio flop)

You and I: 65.121m

Judas 36.919m

Marry The Night: 35.648m

So yes, it's rather surprising.

What did you expect You and I to get? :lmao:

That song is double platinum, stop.

Just remember, Gangham Style was as much a "radio flop" as You and I in the US.

Being strong in streaming will count for charts next era.

Emvee

Very excited about streaming points. She will still have strong competition from Rihanna and Katy Perry in that category, but Gaga is very popular when it comes to streaming as Ozzy pointed out. people dont like to admit they like her enough to buy her music, but they will listen.

I also hope Gaga can step it up with the help of professional directors and looks that are a bit more... commercial..

I'm confused with what's going on with Rihanna's singles. PIU was already a big hit on urban radio and she's just now making a video for it when Right Now is being released?

Good point! Streaming has the advantage of going untraced (in Spotify you can remove the feature that publishes what you listen to onto Facebook) so you can listen to what you want shamelessly because no one will know. So someone who is ashamed of liking a certain artist is more likely to stream their music as opposed to actually buying it, afraid that someone will find it on their iTunes library and crucify them for it. :rip:
