Taylor was not a successful singles artist with Speak Now. Almost all potential buyers already own her current album. None of the remaining singles have crossover appeal like Trouble. It's kinda embarrassing how she's alienated her core demographic and now couldn't match her last record despite the hit singles. Begin Again did pretty badly on Country in comparison to the singles from SN so there's definitely the sense that they're turning away from her.
