Math 92
24. Here's to Never Growing Up - Avril Lavigne also a fighter. mediocre airplay and still managed to stay on top 25 the whole week I hope her next single is a bit edgier, she really needs it. the key is to pull a Kelly Clarkson/P!nk and cater to the adult audience imo
Tommymonster44 0
Is 22 still a thing? I'd consider 22 a success. It's gotten considerable radio support and has passed the million mark in sales. Obviously, it's not a smash single by any means when you look at it alone. But that taking it completely out of context. Her strategy isn't to get hit after hit after hit like most of the pop girls. She hypes up album released with multiple promo releases, which turn into utter sale monsters. Additionally, she focuses most of her effort on her first and sometimes second singles. When you look at Red's overall success, it's completely massive. Everyone here makes fun of 22's success, but that's absolutely ridiculous. Her label doesn't need and didn't even plan for 22 to smash. They've probably profited more off of this last album alone than other stars like Rihanna or Katy Perry have made off of their past two or three albums. EarnYourLeather 231
Yes, but it did well on radio. IMO, top ten on any radio format (regardless of sales) is a fine run. Especially for a group like them (which I've mentioned, nobody even knows about). I didn't even think the song would chart, considering that a lot of EDM song/groups can't get off the ground lately. I love your support for EDM. Hopefully we will get a lot of that from GaGa on ARTPOP. We need some EDM to chart high! Pure Adrenaline 1,518
Same Love is an okay third single. It has momentum but still. It doesnt sound like your everyday indie hit so it's a bit risky. ew hate that song..... Make The Money,White Walls or Jimmy Iovine would have slayed Can't Hold Us > Thrift Shop > Same Love I hope Macklemore continues his success.
