One Five Ten

Remains album of the year

It's an incredibly solid album.

I wouldn't call it the BEST of the year, (which would be ARTPOP followed by a few others), but Lorde's is the one release this year that does NOT have a weak link much like The Fame Monster. It's 10 tracks of greatness. :applause:

Gaga is Life

I was watching her on the ARIA's last night. It was so amazing to see her perform so well on my TV Team is about to overtake DWUW on Aussie iTunes

I love how in the red carpet they were asking random guests who they were most excited to see at the ARIA's and all of them said Lorde. Apart from one guest who said "everyone".

Edit: Yay it's overtaken DWUW  Royals is now coming for Unconditionally's weave :Jase:

ARTPOP comes nowhere close to Pure Heroine and that's coming from a stan of both.

I think the critical reception speaks for itself.

Actually I have to agree, as much as it hurts  .

There are a couple of albums this year that are better than ARTPOP.

Popular teenage artist Lorde, who is best known for her hit song "Royals," had previously said she would like to write lyrics for a K-Pop group. She further showed her interest in K-Pop during an interview with Universal Music.

She said, "Personally, I really like K-Pop groups. I particularly like the musician Lee Hi. I want to try a collaboration with Lee Hi. I also like 2NE1." She even sang a little bit of Lee Hi's "1,2,3,4."

Lorde, who is the same age as Lee Hi, explained her reasons for liking K-Pop: "It is because their melodies and songs are very interesting. Their melodies are a lot more charming than the Western pop which I grew up listening to. If it is pop music, it should be to that extent."

During the interview, she also revealed that she was not a great dancer. Lorde said, "I think I need to receive a dancing lesson from Girls' Generation."

She continued, "If I get the chance, I definitely want to go to Korea and meet everyone. I hope that my present album has music that holds significance to everyone."

Lorde released her studio album 'Pure Heroine' in late September.
