I love that girl, her debut album is really amazing. Buzzcut Season is my favorite song, it gives me chills... "I live in a hologram with you" makes me cry every single time (brings back some memories).

Smooth Criminal

The 'Royals' singer caught the attention of Guetta long before her EP topped charts around the world however the producer, who has worked with everyone from Rihanna and Kelly Rowland to Usher and Akon, noticed her talents prior to her rise to fame and put in a request for her to record vocals for his album.

However Lorde, real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor, instantly shot down the idea when her manager Scott Maclachlan explained the offer during an interview with Australian website FasterLouder. "No," she responded, "F**k no. He's so gross."

Disinterested in how working with Guetta might help her own career, Lorde slammed the idea of working with the producer, instead preferring to stick to working with her own small team including writing partner Joel Little, who previously played in post-punk band Goodnight Nurse.

While the 'When Love Takes Over' creator isn't someone Lorde wants to work with, she does admit that there are other big names she wouldn't mind pairing up with.

“You asked me a while ago who my dream producer would be, and I think these days I’m leaning toward Diplo," she wrote to Maclachlan earlier this year.

Diplo, the mastermind behind Major Lazer, also boasts a whole host of A-List collaborators and worked on production for Beyonce, Usher and Justin Bieber.

What the actual mess? This girl seriously needs a filter. Doesn't she have a publicist or something who warns her that you can't go around openly dissing people in this industry. It's a huge turn off. BYE 1 hit wonder!  :classy:

Sorry don't know if AP!

She may not like his work but saying someone is gross is too far. She needs to take her head out of her ass.

This just shows her age. Someone with tact would have said, "I just don't see myself working with him. I don't think we'd mesh well."
