Lorde would have been WAY out of place at a Katy Perry concert. And I think if Lorde wants to go all out and become not a one hit wonder this isn't the time to be opening for Katy.

I like her explanation.

 

In general, she kinda comes off as a smart-ass (am I just reading the wrong interviews/articles?), but I can't disagree with her. Also, her answers are a lot more intelligible than a lot of her older peers. Hmm.

Yesterday, while I was eating at Subway in Australia, I heard a mysterious set of beats that sound familiar to me. It only came late to my senses that the radio is playing Tennis Court. Lorde's impact. :legend:

well, I am one of those people who don't like the song. :awesome: I mean, yeah, it's Lorde, but it's really flat in terms of melody. I'm more into melody than digging the deep lyrical meaning of the song. :)

Tennis Court is not relatable. It's about her life's transmission in becoming a star. And idgi, melody? Yeah it's not complicated but it's still infectious. That's even her most energetic song :sweat: second to Team rather.
