Â It's complete bull. Â So, it can help a song reach #1 but then when we look back at the official final standing for the single we'll just negate it? Certifications are ridiculously inflated now and poorly represent a song's popularity. Baby is 12x platinum but only sold around 3 mil, Bad Romance sold a little over 5 mil and is 10x platinum. Love the Way You Lie is roughly the same as Bad Romance. BR and LTWYL were both bigger hits than Baby but certifications say otherwise. imo they gave too much weight to streaming.
