Watch Burqa be about partying in clubs

Watch Burqa be about love yourself

"Don't wear a burqa, be yourself"

I personally believe he's trolling.

He's not trolling. He's Gaga's dad, not a troll.

It would be funny tho. Gaga's asking "Dad, if little monsters ask you about ARTPOP, troll them"

Also, in regards to Burqa, I bet the theme will be something along the lines of.

"See the truth in my eyes,

Burqa,

Burqa,
Would I tell a lie?

Burqa,

Burqa,

I can love you tonight."

Something about seeing everything through someones eyes.

And why wouldn't he troll? My Dad would. He'd be like, "tell them it's September so they **** their pants when it's June."

It would be incredible & hilarious.

Yeah.. although a burqa covers everything, including the eyes. A niqab covers everything but the eyes.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Oh, apoligies for ignorance (if anyone is offended). As far as I was aware burqa's had the two variations (one where you could see the eyes and one where you could not.)

Just had a look and you're correct. That blows my theme out of the water!

I might be hearing wrong, but I think he was referring to the album's release date and not the first single. Plus, have we forgotten this already?:

If the album is due in august then june is about right for the first single.

A single release on a Saturday?

i think gaga can push the limits singing about burquas, i mean she was harshly criticized when she was wearing meat...agag wearing a burqua and dancing in it will be a whole different story...while christians can be more tolerant when it comes to religious cloths, muslims will be willing to stone gaga for bashing their religion, i hope she will never make it  single

That card from Melbourne definitely meant something, I think Gaga's dad was referring to the album being released in August, look what a monster from ATRL thinks:

I think he's referring to the album coming out in August, they were talking about it, and then they complained that it had been 2 years already and then after they complained he was like "well the singles usually comes out 2 months before the album" as if to say "it's not that long you'll get new music before August because of the lead single," which would mean a June release with a May announcement. Let me not get hyped

True. But how do we even know that Burqa has anything to do with religion?

Burqa is not supposed to cause religious drama because Burqa, the thing women put on her face, is NOT religious at all. :smh:

No. A burqa is a religious garment. Also, a lot of people argue that niqabs and hijabs are garments that are cultural and not religious, however, I have many friends who decide to wear them because of their faith. Culture and religion can be interchangeable at times.

I'm not referring to you Bambino but one of the things I'm most afraid of is ignorance and know-it-all attitude that the fanbase might demonstrate by trying to defend Gaga if Burqa is released as a single. Now I'm not saying that she is trying to be offensive - she might be able to pull it off - but its very hard not to make a cultural appropriation in pop music and to do so to a religion as misunderstood as Islam is really careless.

I hope she doesn't try to make any stupid metaphors or wild associations with this one.
