After all she wore the pink sheer burqa to introduce the Phillip Treacy show. Burqa could mean anything. Indeed. It could means food too. Burqa I wanna eat Burqa. Beef Patties fole ve yah! It's controversy-getting in a very interesting way. With that said, the possible dates also heavily hint for some hugely serious promotion in the name of the VMAs. Who in their right mind thinks that a song called Burqa - no matter what it sounds like - is going to do well on radio o sell well with the GP? Just look at the songs eating up the charts now - Just Give Me a Reason, Can't Hold Us, Stay . . . people want simple songs that they can understand that don't have a deep meaning or symbolism to figure out, and they certain don't want a song with religious overtones. I'm praying to god that she comes back with a good, simplistic song like Just Dance or Bad Romance. This is what people want to hear. This is not what's going to do well, regardless of how good of a song it is. If this is the lead single, she's singlehandedly ruining her own career. I want Gaga to be successful, and she's really making it hard for herself with titles like these. I just think she overcomplicates things. That was the main problem with Born This Way, and if we are talking about what I like, quite frankly, I prefer The Fame and The Fame Monster by a landslide. And so did the GP.
