Where did you learn to paint in photoshop so well? Your blending is amazing! Don't visit my profile
French Fries 0
Where did you learn to paint in photoshop so well? Your blending is amazing! Thank you!! I started learning with no idea of what I was doing. With photoshop, there isn't a solid, one-way to draw. There are a million ways and techniques to draw the exact same thing. Most of the techniques I learned are taken from several youtube artists. My blending technique is mostly the use of the smudge tool with like 5-20% strength (depends) to blend to different shades of color together. It takes time, hence why I didn't finish one of them :bleh: And the hair is like hundreds of straight pen strokes over a darker color background (light teal over dark teal). It's not that hard, really. You just have to use a method that suits you for the results you want. Check out "CrazyBonkers" on youtube if you're interested. He has some good tutorials too. ;)

French Fries 0
You guys, new project at its earliest phase. I'm really bad at drawing by hand, so I used the grid method to sketch this. It's not cheating really since I'm not tracing over the original picture or anything .. Besides, Van Gogh, Durer, and Da Vinci weren't lesser artists because they made use of these tricks UPDATE: A day later (3 hours of work) The face is almost done
