They want to start with a bang out of nowhere and make the era last longer than 6 months after the album like BTW. Bebe 17,093 Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 I'm not sure whether to be worried that she hasn't been able to write a song greater than the lead single in a year (maybe indicating a decline in ideas/creativity), or whether I should be happy (maybe it indicates the lead is incredibly strong). I remember when she said she wrote Just Dance/Poker Face/ LoveGame all in one day. She wrote Bad Romance/Telephone/Alejandro in a relativly short time span too. Those are her biggest hits. How can she write for over a year and not top what she previously wanted as lead single? I think I am just getting worried over nothing tbh... Who's to say it's really the best song on the album though? Just because it's a lead single doesn't mean it's the best song. Plenty of people here think that there are better songs than Just Dance, Bad Romance, and Born This Way on their particular albums. It's hard to tell whether it would be a success or not based on what we have. I mean if you heard "rah rah rah" part of BR briefly I'm sure we'd all think the song would flop.
