Rashida Tlaib, who was reelected, have been sharply critical of U.S. military assistance to Israel and the war in Gaza. “This is not reserved to the Democratic Party,” Shapiro said. “I think you have seen the vice president of the United States peddle antisemitism. You’ve got people on the extremes” in both political parties. “To me, there is no place for antisemitism in our country, period, just like I think there’s no place for Islamophobia or racism or hatred or bigotry in any form,” Shapiro said.
