That was the exact moment I reallised, for sure, without a doubt, that America is a complete joke and Parks And Recreation was a real documentary

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

DopeEnigma

What a brilliant evening and set of results, a total repudiation of Trump. It’s going to be a pleasure watching the s*** show of Republicans blaming each other and Trump. If Dems can work out their differences and set a clear plan focused on tackling cost of living etc they’re on to a winner for 2028. What a blowout though, Kansas, South Carolina, Iowa, and even looking like Mississippi, incredible!

My prediction from October 19th based on polling and before EV data came in:

My prediction just before polls closed yesterday & after we'd seen EV turnouts:

Sadly got Florida right. And correctly called Georgia, Ohio (even before Ramasamwy ****ed it), Michigan, Minnesota, Texas, & North Carolina. I should have backed myself on South Carolina, but at least spotted that Darlene Graham specifically was in trouble even if the GOP weren't generally.

I did say Republicans had the farm belt states, but ngl I am surprised the independents didn't do better in Idaho/South Dakota. And we all know Montanna would have flipped without Bankhead.

Gonna say it. Nailed Iowa & Kansas. The Republican vote breaking there was predictable.
Nebraska's undecided factor in the polls didn't break for the Democrats by a big enough margin in the end, not by the margin I predicted at least. Ricketts came in at the top end of the polling range in the end so he did surprisingly well considering the clear Blue tsunami in effect.

Called the sudden viability of Louisana/Mississippi based on the EV and the sudden moves by national figures like Bill Clinton/Pete Buttigieg onto GOTV ops here. Louisiana stayed red as I kind of assumed but was significantly closer than I expected, we still don't know Mississippi and I hope my prediction is wrong. Both states right now need to be part of any 2028 operation by the Democrats, 2028 can't be a defensive contest it's needs to be tanks on the front lawn.

Alaska is starting to slip, but Mississippi is an unexpected potential consolation prize there which I think we can all live with. Sullivan is outperforming the majority of the polls and NBC's estimate of where the remaining vote is looking more Red than Blue in Alaska - where as its the inverse in Mississippi (and that's very nearly finished counting).

I think we're looking at 55 seats when these are finally called, but I do think 56 is a real possibility.

*edit as I forgot* - I did say the polls looked bad for Susan Collins. I just never had faith that dementor could be stopped.

Democrats won young white men tonight by 17 points, per CNN exits

Trump won them *28 points* in 2024

NBC had young men (not just whites) at 74% Democratic on the exit poll vs Trump having a 1 point lead at 49% in 2024.

The manosphere is dead. They can't afford the steroids.
