These teenagers are working on ways to access social media as we speak. 11 hours ago, Bronco said: Firmly believe we need to let kids be kids, anyone who works with under 18s these days can tell you jus how pervasive social media content is within their lives and it literally controls how they feel about themselves. 6 hours ago, Roughhouse Dandy said: Good. Do it everywhere. Who cares if kids are able to find workarounds? Making access more difficult is better than nothing. Some of y'all sound like anti-gun control people here in America. It is true these sorts of things are really hard to enforce. There is just 1 positive big effect I found, which is that on Instagram/TikTok, a lot of the content is you sitting down and doing your make-up, sharing a story or your opinion on something, or doing one of those dance trends. Now if some 12 year old does this type of content and it is found out they are under 15, it is easier to ban their account. It can discourage kids from actively creating things with themselves included on social media, but it's much harder to cut down on their social media consumption.
