Cherry Blues 749
It is beautiful natural album full of LGs soul. Lovers kiss in a garden made of thorns, traces of lonely words... 1

And that’s ok. do you think so? i love that it's the lead and i love the video a lot; it really showed which fans are open to analysis and interpretation vs those who need a cookie cutter pop video to be entertained and storyline laid out bare for them i think DH would have made a decent lead single too though mother, what must i do? I like that observation I defended that song with my life and now, 10 years later, I actually wish she went a bit more harder rock with it mother, what must i do? Gagaplayer315 14,773
The era where I turned into an iconic soccer mom on twitter to promote it The JWT was also my first ever Gaga tour Unfortunately the album sits at the bottom of Gaga's discography and feels like a total disconnection of her essence as an artist 2

dracomalfoy 1,029
I remember feeling sad about the backlash (particularly online and among pop fans in online forums) and complaining about it to my mom, she said it only mattered if I liked it. And honestly from the get-go I liked this album, I never understood why people called it bad, I was living. I was 15 and this was the first Gaga era where I fully followed every single thing she did (I was a child mostly just vibing through her other ones and seeing what popped up on my socials), even thought nowadays this is not an album I come back to and listen to a lot, it made me very happy at the time and it has a very comfy place in my heart. JUSTICE FOR A-YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://i.imgur.com/B8o4QJJ.jpeg This photo is from 2017 technically, after Coachella, when she came to Rock In Rio (well, she didn't ). I have no idea if my mom could've afforded me traveling to see the show + tickets so I didn't even ask, but I asked for this hoodie as a birthday gift and it arrived the day before her set (also the day she cancelled it ). See you at the beach. XOXO, The Mistress of Mayhem.
Mr S 8,890
I remember forcing myself to listen to this album so much when it came out, doing my part to help the streams,. request on radio etc. unfortunately the music just wasn't it. It's not the genre or the shift, but the music just wasn't it. The vocals especially were abrasive. I also don't understand why they call it a personal album. The lyrics are not personal at all. This is an idea that needed guidance and direction from others, or needed to be scrapped. 1
KindnessPunk 2,563
Do you guys think Gags did anything privately to remember the anniversary? I’d like to think she plopped down on the piano and played a few songs to Michael, maybe went outside and basked in the sun, maybe put on that hat again. But there’s a massive irony in the fact that the fanbase seems to universally dislike the album BUT somehow still screams for “Rock” music on here which this album is the closest she ever got to doing it, and people hated it
