ThisGuyTony 35,919
“I’ve nothing really going on and I really miss being on TV,” said DeGeneres, who moved across the Atlantic with her wife, Portia de Rossi, 53, in 2024. “I miss a lot about it — laughing with the writers and the audience. I think about doing stuff here.”

Madame Goo Goo 4,168
I will 100% stand by Ellen not deserving to be canceled to the extent that she has been. She’s been treated like a serial rapist, not a mean boss. Why is it only ever women who manage to get canceled? Her and Lizzo literally had their careers ended over things that deserved to be called out in the public eye and rectified, yes, but would not have been career enders for anyone else. Laugh all you want but a huge reason gay people are accepted today in the United States is from people having a gay woman in their living rooms every day. Icon, and I hope public perception shifts for her. Edited October 16 by Madame Goo Goo Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything 8

gagzus 26,999
Honestly, since she’s now in the UK and how big she was in the US—and how much the British public don’t care about US public perception, I’m shocked she hasn’t gotten a UK based show yet. Especially since the UK is much more controlled behind the scenes in TV, she’d NEVER get away with being able to do the stuff she did in the US because we’re big on unions etc. I’m shocked ITV hasn’t made her have a talk show to compete with Graham Norton.
