nATAH 59,259
ARTPOP the concept would have been better explored, executed and taken seriously for the serious piece of art she wanted it to be if she did it later in her career mother, what must i do? 1 1

She could have collaborated with other avant-garde artists.

The songs were left to rot since she didn’t even acknowledge them once so what was the point? - Collabs with Ariana, Bruno, and BLACKPINK: each of those songs would’ve been elevated if they were solo and not collaborations I'm sorry but I couldn't disagree more about the whole 'CollabGa' thing. That's something that only people on stan twitter care about. These are the total collaborations Gaga has done on her albums: TF: 2 TFM: 1 BTW: 0 ARTPOP: Was 4, is now 3 (on one song) Joanne: 1 Chromatica: 3 Mayhem: 1 A total of 11 (once 12). The only exception being Runway, its inclusion would bring it to a total of 12. Projects like ASIB & Jazz w/ Tony don't count because they're projects that focus on both people respectively. Gaga barely does collaborations. The songs where she features other artists becoming popular is because they were pushed as singles. Who wouldn't push a song as a single especially if it featured multiple A-list celebrities? 。゚☁ glued up, sometimes it's too much ☁ ゚。 2
vmpiregrn 1,242
i second enigma. the onstage antics were…a choice and the costumes were so cheap looking same with a lot of the styling of chromatica (not the chromatica ball though). which we were in a pandemic so there’s some grace there i guess…but god 1

Agree, that song got big here in Aus and was on the radio a lot at the time and I would always change the station because I found it annoying and still do. 1 1 2

Well I will say that Gaga praised her performance art a few times before 2013 like in the Showstudio interview from 2010 (the long one with the typing) and Gaga enlisted her during the ARTPOP era to help her fully immerse herself in her art with no limits and really go there (since Gaga said she liked how limitless she was as an artist) so I wouldn't say it is all that surprising for her but yes not the best publicity wise since it gave us that picture that people still bring up now to use against her.
NemoMyName 2,417
How performatic she became outside the stage during the BTWtour/PreARTPOP era, how pretentious she become to my eyes, like she tried so hard and it felt empty to me, i stopped being a fan right there. 1 1

Plus the storyline didn't make much sense and the choreo was awful, plus her dancing was so off and it seemed like she was rushing a lot which made her dancing look messy. I have seen rehearsal clips that looked better and cleaner as well so idk what happened with the actual show. Plus the costumes, makeup and wigs were a mess.

What do you mean? Can you provide some examples and also why would it not apply to other eras?

Like I'm kind, but far from perfect and I never aimed to that.. I like being a kind asshole. Not to mention during 2012’s FAME/ early ARTPOP era she was super b!tchy and messy with feuds on twitter. Doesn’t read kindness punk to me Spoiler The things I would do to have fame launchGa back are… questionable.
Duella Dvil 12,669
Go to and perform and ultimately praise Israel. Outer Bio's involvement with lightspeed Stay silent on Palestine I wish she would have NEVER released Alejandro as the music video could be made with Monster serving as the intro transitioning into Dance in The Dark I wish the cherry tree sessions would have extended into the fame monster era so we could have had stripped performances of songs from that era as well. (We have none on streaming) No chromatica on the setlist for the Mayhem ball was a CRIME No "To Be Continued" on telephone. It has haunted us since. She should have left Troy pre-ARTPOP and then fleshed the concept out a lil bit more. I really genuinely feel like JnD was a mistake. The instrumental is FIRE her verses... garbage. That chorus? Ghastly. Everyone else, they chewed. Sexxx Dreams being teased by Rihanna was such a let down. Why were the credits on the ARTPOP film but not Alejandro or Telephone (they were but it goes by so quickly I bet you forgot) I wish she would stop using pretty much the same structure for her hits as on the original recording. Million Reasons and Shallow being revamped was incredible. I would love to hear her reimagine her tracks within the scope of the era. Kindness Punks punch up to lay the beat down OT: One quite prominent dislike surfaces to mind, more of a source dislike with layers of residual symptoms, but I wouldn‘t say I wish she never did it … sometimes a story has no end, and it seems as though we still have many miles to go before sleep, and eons more chapters left to read … so I’m still here for the tell of the show 1
