gagzus 26,614 Posted yesterday at 02:13 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 02:13 PM Russia? Interfering in politics in 2016? Forcing the west to become more right wing? Colour me shocked. As if they didn’t make Trump president. 8
JustAnotherGayASMR 459 Posted yesterday at 02:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:52 PM I love Andy but I feel if you're going to make such a statement he should back it up with evidence. I want to know all the how, what, why, where & when's. Haven't watched the whole interview so maybe he has elaborated on this already or perhaps the information is currently classified. Whether Russia interfered or not I'd like to rejoin the EU as I never wanted to leave in the first place. I think a lot of the leave voters would now feel the same too given the fact they were sold with false promises that failed to deliver & brought further disadvantages. After all it's just another gay x https://www.youtube.com/@JustAnotherGayASMR

I don’t think we’ll be rejoining tbh. We should probably wait another decade or two before we take a new vote; otherwise it ends up like how Scottish Independence has been. Where you keep voting until you get the answer you want. Because we also then have a new generation of voters, as well as previous voters who’ve lived through not being in the EU. I personally voted remain, but equally I must say my life hasn’t changed really since we left, I’ve just had a longer trip through customs that’s about it. But it’s no different than if we went outside of Europe for a holiday. I do think Russia should be investigated over it, since they were already found to have interfered in the US election, but Brexit was so close (it wasn’t a majority no matter what anyone says, it was almost 50/50) that it deserves another look. Although there’s not much they could do if it turns out to be true, we’d only sanction Putin specifically, and then we’d have a vote for EU reentry but only if they will allow us— and there’s no guarantee it’ll happen. Lucas 31,743 Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:30 PM Obviously. And it's probably the same in European elections, that's why anti-EU presidents are winning everywhere.

There's been plenty of government reports under the tory years including 2016 where the intelligence services said Russia was sponsoring or directly behind the misinformation schemes Andy mentioned. He's just the first PM to effectively acknowledge them beyond some waffle worded government statement in the house. To be honest once you reach a certain amount of wealth and influence left and right wing becomes inconsequential and you become on a class of your own. Because even democratic billionaires are still billionaires. 2
MOT 3,679 Posted yesterday at 05:48 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:48 PM Election interference ? Well yeah, I think we all assumed they threw money at it and spread lies, but did they interfere with the election itself, the voting ?

That's interference. Actually impacting the vote through false ballots etc is election fraud. The gays know how to party

Well yeah, I think we all assumed they threw money at it and spread lies, but did they interfere with the election itself, the voting ? He said it was down to misinformation. Which ironically is what Brexit was even built on anyway. People often forget Brexit primarily happened because Nigel Farage when he was in UKIP before Reform, spearheaded the campaign with false figures of how much we send to the EU every month and how much we spend on “foreign nationals” in the EU via the NHS. I believe he said we spend almost half a billion a year that could be put into the NHS—a claim we later found out AFTER Brexit was false. Which is why I’m so surprised people are shocked that Farage has done all the dumb sh*t he has in Reform. He literally has always done it. Another big selling point was that we’d have more control over the amount of immigrants in the country because of the EU’s rules on refugees etc. Which made no difference really, also people don't talk about how we now have the lowest immigration acceptance in over 20 years. He pushed for the referendum and took over every interview he was in talking about it, to the point it became talking points between 2014-2016. Then when public opinion became stronger, Cameron called for a referendum. Which in my opinion should've been thrown out and redone since there wasn’t a clear majority. 49% voted remain and 51% voted to leave. As for Russia, they were discovered to be purchasing advertising and sponsored posts with false facts and statistics on Facebook specifically in 2016 for Trump’s administration. Of which they got sanctions for. So it wouldn’t shock me if they did the exact same for Brexit.
