When an artist sign with a label they own almost everything: masters, demos, etc... As the artist is a paid employee they sometimes have a saying but is the label who decides what gets released, what gets shelved, what gets promoted.

Contracts are negotiated.

Yeah, thats why we never hear artists complaining about their labels. Lets pretend they are not abusive with new artists.

I mean, the song's been online for ever, wish they would release something actually "from the vault". Hopefully in the upcoming days.

Rebellion...has been the Blackout holy grail for the longest time and still hasn't leaked in full. In fact she could release an entire B side album of Blackout with all of the unreleased. They're all so iconic

Oh yeah, Rebellion is for sure the Holy Grail of unreleased Britney Material. I don't think it'll ever see the light of day, but there's always hope.

Cute song but no wonder it didn't make it on the final album, not that her third album is a masterpiece either. Sounds a bit like it was written during Oops/Britney sessions and interesting that it has Justin Timberlake listed as composer because it does sound a bit like an N'Sync song.

One of the new songs titled "My Big Secret" appears to be a completely unknown song until the 25th anniversary was announced.

Justin worked on a few songs with Britney for this album. Overprotected is the only one I know off the top of my head that was originally for a different album, and in this case it was done for Oops.

I've never heard these. Guilty is iconic. She has such a good unreleased collection

Sinner is my fav unreleased track from that era, so i'm glad it will be released, also all my love for "before the goodbye" the best song in her first self titled

Yeah, I just read that! Exciting! I wonder if they'll do anything to improve on Sinner because it's the one that sounds the most like a demo from what they're adding.

That is my favorite one because it is the most experimental IMO. It really shows off a lot of maturity and artistry from her. I like She'll Never Be Me, but I think Sinner would've been better as a lead for the 25th anniversary because it would've peaked more interest.
