She may have said that then but I dont think she sees herself or identifies that way anymore. Everything about the way she is, how she refers to herself, some traditional inclinations she has with relationships and "motherhood" etc... she has always portrayed herself in a way that suggests she feels like a woman not a non-binairy

 

I cant read her mind but im just saying, nothing about her really suggests thats how she currently identifies

Well the test flights yeah i agree. But i think Katy Perry was different. She was calling herself an astronaut for going to space as a tourist for 11 minutes and did cringe stuff like kiss the ground when she came back

 

Also this was more recent with Katy where political polarization is more focused on wealth inequality and hating any association with the rich and excess

 

Back when Gaga was considering going to space the internet was far more focused on PC culture and wokeness so even the criticism Katy got from that perspective would have likely been less extreme in the mid 2010s

I don't remember if it was a legit rumor at the time or some lm just made it up but it was about her performing the LG5 lead single at the 2016 Grammys but she cancelled it to do the David Bowie tribute

Oh absolutely, but people definitely would’ve brought it up again now, like they do with her performing in Tel Aviv in 2014. 

Also by definition anyone who participates in any form of Space Travel is an Astronaut.  A Professional Astronaut is someone who WORKS on Space Stations for a living for months of the year. So whether people like it or not technically Katy is an astronaut just not a professional one.

We never got a concrete answer to this. No one has ever asked her, nor has any reliable insider confirmed or denied it. The reason being, that she was already announced as a performer and filmed the Intel promo before Bowie died. We know RedOne said they did pick a song for a single from his and Gaga’a sessions, he just never said which one it was. But he never said why it never happened or what song it was.

We had like 6 of the 8 song titles from the sessions though—two of which were outrightly confirmed because 1 was released and the other was confirmed as more than just a backstage fan story by Gaga at the Mayhem panel; Frankenstein and Angel Down.

In all fairness, the intel collaboration was for the visuals to react to the music in real time. But the actual promo video just doesn’t translate that well

I wish she got asked about that time and what she was originally supposed to perform at the Spotify Q&A thing instead of tired questions about ARTPOP act 2, Telephone part 2 and Azealia Banks

True. But i feel like resurfaced things now a days unless they are really major have a lot less actual impact than in the past

 

It may seem like a big deal when your algorithms feed it to you and you see negative comments but in practice only a very small segment of population reads or cares about that resurfaced stuff or discusses it. The vast majority of the GP dont care and thats if they are even aware of it.

 

I dont think it would have as much impact on her career now as Katy doing it recently. But thats my opinion

To be fair I liked all the questions at the panel, and thought they were very on brand with what fans online discuss. The only question that was genuinely a waste of time was the one about what she said to Ariana.

Did we? I always assumed that was a fan rumour too. But it made the most sense tbh, since it was before the SuperBowl happened and she was on a mission to change/fix her image.
