Imo moving forward they need to make the show a REAL anthology again and almost like a theatre company.

No crossovers or linking lore. Have a set of actors who sign on for a few seasons at a time, then they get rotated for roles like one season an actor is the main character, the next they’re a secondary one. Maybe one season someone is the main antagonist and then the next they’re the mother of the protagonist or something. Give them the scripts and don’t accommodate for them, forces them all to step out of their comfort zones.

It sounds like you may be disappointed more than it’s worth if you continue following the show tbh. I have zero belief they will ever do that

Tbh she didn’t need to come back, Constance is still the same note as she was in Apocalypse, which was the same note as Murder House. Not to mention imo she’s played the same character for 4 seasons. So I don’t expect the 5th to show much range.

She’s a good actress yes, but my god her range is absolutely dull from what she does in AHS. You could just swap her out for a generic menacing older lady character in the episodes so far played by any good actress.

Ryan’s already confirmed it probably isn’t as he’s started the treatment for 14. But now he’s gonna have to juggle his projects since he’s wanting Glee to come back, he seems bored. So maybe they should alternate and make one year is Monster, one is AHS and one is Glee.

to be fair I told myself that if it doesn’t get a reboot/change up after this season then I probably won’t follow along anymore tbh. Next season should be entirely new cast and they should do what the original few seasons did; a traditional horror theme with a twist. And since he’s interested in a “global” version where it takes place around the world they could do folklore and myth inspired seasons, different time periods and different actors. Even different languages if needs be.

But the show definitely needs a shake up from 14 onward if it’s going to continue.

Guys... It's AHS... I would have abandoned it years ago if I watched it seriously. The only way to enjoy it is watching it like a comedy for the absurdity of it all. NEVER expect anything from AHS. You will always be disappointed!

I have not seen the episodes yet but I know they will be terrible. Pretty much every season is! It's one of those SO BAD I LOVE IT shows.

I would LOVE a global one. My husband is from Germany and holy s— are some of their children’s stories true horror.

The older man is Satan, and Constance is sacrificing souls to make him more powerful. Since it seems every time someone dies related to the number 13 he gets more powerful. She’s sacrificed her own children’s souls to hell at the end of the third episode.

There’s been allusions to the Last Supper and 13 female souls to sacrifice. The Black Dahlia is one of them. My guess is the other 12 are main female characters from the series who have all died (Myrtle, Fiona, Marie, Maddison etc). Constance also specifically seems to sympathise with Judas as well. 

Also my guess is originally The Countess was one of the 13 souls to be sacrificed but when Gaga couldn’t return they changed it.

My theory is the main character is afraid of the number 13 because he’s actually a descendant or reincarnation of Jesus/God or some holy divine spirit (probably linked back to Warlocks and Witches). We already know that the actor from Love Story is playing a younger version of the old man character from the first 3 episodes. So my theory is the more of the 13 female souls he gets the more youthful and powerful he becomes and looks.

Constance will be his literal Judas and betray him at the end of the season and help the witches and the main male character defeat him.

I would love a series set in Victorian London where it combines murder mystery and supernatural elements. Or a Norse mythology one (I love Vikings). There’s so much more potential if they go beyond the restrictions of just America.

The new actor LOOKS good but it’s pretty obvious just off how he’s dressed who he’s playing. 

does feel a bit brown-nosy over ryan murphy. i’m okay with the format resembling apocalypse and roanoke but rn this season is an absolute **** show. again, 22 mins?! does RM think he’s making south park? 

also super unnecessary to make him finger Mr Nas bum hole with Constance instructions on handling his body fluid and stomach content  Idk what i watched tbh …
