Plus why is the first one an entirely new character and actor who’s not even in the first 3 episodes? Synergy matters. You can just change them out for brand new characters. Like Lange could’ve totally played a new character where she’s playing Constance. It has no real impact so far. But I think they could’ve cut the number of episodes in half, because clearly the episode lengths were a play to be like “hey look we have LOTS of episodes this season like we used to.” They could’ve also made it focus more on the new main character’s story more than the random inclusion of old characters. Even the Coven scene in episode one is just…there and hitting beats. They could’ve made the story revolved around people being brought back with entirely new ones even. Once you see the characters together the nostalgia sort of wears off. Am I still going to watch? Absolutely! Because I want to see if I’m wrong and if the story pays off. And if my predictions are right about the season. But yeah what’s everyone’s opinions thus far and your predictions? just an fyi, apparently jessica only came back bc ryan told her she could play all four of her prior characters. New normal is 6 to 8. so if you double 6 you get 12 so thats why they are so short and thats why they are releasing two to three per week. I’m waiting to see how it all comes together before I make a decision on if I like it or not. I also didn’t really have high expectations of a fan service season. According to some others that watch the show, I have some unpopular opinions about it anyways. Madison being offensive is inherently part of her character. So that comment didn’t phase me whatsoever. Ryan Murphy absolutely would have enough influence to expand episode counts.
