Just enough of this. Why not actually invest in all the actors and actresses and producers and writers and encourage them to work with Paramount instead of going after vile reprehensible people for cash flow?

Because all these next-gen owners of corporations are tech bros and venture capitalists who see them purely like a buy and sell stock market business. You need creative heads under them who love the art of cinema to keep things working properly like how Marvel Studios has Kevin Feige under Bob Iger. 

Look at Trump, he was a (failed) businessman and runs America like a business and not like a politician running a country. He cares only about the money/image of himself. Which is where this new gen of millionaire business people owning everything came from. Plus they all run in the same circles and know each other.

Paramount also doesn’t make as much money independently as Disney did before it acquired Fox and other properties. Now with a WB merger they’re on track to make as much but still need a cash injection to fund bigger projects. Paramount and Warner can’t pull out half a billion dollars to create and promote a movie and then make over a billion dollars like Disney can.
