The fact that it’s just one of her many great songs 

I feel that we’ve normalized it but that’s because we often compare her to other pop stars that don’t even write their music or work on its arrangement

Gaga writes her songs AND works on the instrumentals, yet she has many great songs. Like MANY. Most artists would only manage to have one or two.

Of course she has a Shape Of WoWoWOwo once in a while, but the vast majority of her catalog is very solid. She has AT LEAST 50 really great songs (probably more.)

Love the intense and hard production of the song and of course the video in a "normal" suburb. The song is really unique and the video is pure art.
