Gagasdisease 392
I personally think it's a weird career move but why does everyone care so much if that's her choice and she's making millions off of this type work? Everyone is all for sex workers and women empowerment unless it's someone they don't like? (Not that I would call this sex work) Also, people have posed nude for decades for ads and campaigns, why is this so controversial? 1

I was here a few months ago, when she did the jeans ad I defended her but I cant really defend her anymore without getting a ick, I mean, she can do whatever she wants but in this political atmosphere everything she's doing just seems counter productive, almost seems she's just rage-baiting to get this reaction you say it's not warranted. And I mean, it seems many female atheltes are not happy with the ad, its not just comments on a forum. Idk, either way, we are talking about it, maybe that's the point, but still feels very out of place and weird to me. Blatantly appealing to the conservative male gaze with her physical assets, openly winking at her political stance ("no politics, just sports") & planting seeds for potentially life-ruining gambling addictions for her own gain. She has firmly established her "brand" atp Whereas she was being arguably "coy" about it before, she is leaning into it pretty hard now

Addison Rae 18,250
going down this ragebaiting male gaze republican leaning career path is generating controversy sure, but at what cost to her image? like as an actress doubling down on controversy for attention is never gonna last in the long run sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi

She will continue to be hired for films/productions/advertisements as long as she is "bankable." But (at the risk of sounding like a straight loser) eventually she will not be as "fvckable" ...& since she is not especially talented as an actress, she will likely need to pivot into a different career/grift. So (in a very dark way) I think she is playing her cards intelligently rn, given the political climate. She is making easy bank atm.... while also ensuring that certain doors will stay open to her later in life, leashing a horde of freaks who will support her once she is "past her prime." Namely (imo) tradwives/conservative women... & idiotic boys/young men who, as they themselves grow older, will always be infatuated with her the way they were when they were younger. For all we know, in private, SS could be a very liberal/progressive/feminist person (she isn't). But publicly, she is putting all her eggs into building a reputation diametrically opposed to that.

Women have spent decades getting men to treat them as equals in sport, and then a male dominared sports industry firm comes along and hires Nazi barbie to reduce the idea of women in sports to male sex fantasies. Don't preach feminism when you blatantly don't understand the subject matter. The gays know how to party 2
