Horny Chicken 11,323
I prefer Whitney but Celineâs Thatâs the Way It Is and Hymne Ă l'amour are just as legendary as Whitneyâs best songs and performances.  edit: I have brain damage and forgot MHWGO Edited September 14 by Horny Chicken We need to bring back slut shaming. MACATL 2,241
I wonât vote in this. Theyâre 100% equals to me in their own specific lanes. Â They both feed my soul and blow me away for different reasons. Â Old school Mariah too. Â
gagzus 27,696
I think theyâre both powerful singers but even in their peaks their artistry and talents didn't even come close to Mariah Carey icl. 1

Celine and Whitney would sing Mariah under a table.

Considering Celineâs current vocal showcase and Whitneyâs before she died they absolutely wouldnât. Whitney suffered a massive range shrinkage, same as Celine. Mariahâs range is still pretty wide considering.

To be fair ⌠the original reference was Whitney or Celine, to which you included Mariah (âeven in their peaksâ); so it seems diversionary to now reference Whitney âbefore she diedâ and Celineâs âcurrent vocal showcase,â especially without referencing Mariahâs recent vocal showcases ⌠just, fair is fair, and to maintain focus ⌠but I could be misinterpreting the original parameters and comparative progression  ETA: Noted the âconsidering,â but I havenât heard a non lip-synced recent Mariah performance ⌠so that might just be my lapse in current vocal reference for the third option Edited September 13 by bxr
