Apple Reveals First Foldable "iPhone Duo"

I don't like it, it's just basic outside its gimmicky folding model. I feel like 18 ProMax offers more, from the camera and more things. Also, no news about creasing yet, so early adopters will let us know 6-10 months from now, I guess

I'm in the market for a new iPhone and was waiting to see what this looked like. I think it's very cool and polished, fantastic for travel as well. But I really don't need the folding functionality, and prefer the upgraded performance and camera system of the Pro

i may be alone on this but i donk like foldable screens, i would like a phone with a nintendo ds like design, just 2 ****ing screens and a normal foldable structure

Dynamic resizability has been a thing for apple operating systems since 2015 with the multitasking feature from iPad and devs have had it as part of a mandatory rollout since June. So it's not really anything new.

I feel like since Steve Jobs died Apple’s direction just makes no sense. Like Steve at least kept making new and unique products but as soon as he died suddenly there was a new iPhone model every year and the most ridiculous stuff I’ve ever seen where the changes are so minor it doesn’t warrant a new model.

Who wants essentially what iPhones were invented to eliminate in the first place; bulk.

That is selective memory. I said that as someone who using since the first iPhone. 

Jobs is the one who make this new phone every year model a thing, and not just to Apple, it affects every other smart phones too. iPhone have always been coming out with new phones with minimal update every year, and only have actually big changes every 3 or 4 years cycle since the start.

Happy for whomever buys this. I’m more interested in a new regular iPhone. 
 

The biggest news I learned today is that they have a new CEO. 
 

I saw a post from Samsung talking about reheating their nachos or whatever like girl sit down nobody cares when you release a product  

The folding phones aren’t really appealing to me regardless of who made them first. I think I just want a new phone and have a case with a sturdy physical keyboard. Like a sidekick with the iPhone tech.

How will a protective case work on this foldable phone. I feel at this price and with a big screen on the exterior of the phone you would need a case to protect the screen from cracking if you drop it. But how would a case work for thjs.

Can people get USB slots and third-party charging cables back please? 'Cuz you guys (Apple) started that whole fiasco until nearly everybody started doing it to their tablets/smartphones. Now THAT would be positive press.

I have no interest in foldable phones as long as the bend crease continues to be an issue
