WOW … pantheonic echelon level unlocked … I don‘t even know why (do I ever ) … but actually considering a Gaga music project where she dedicated undivided intentional attention to the music itself, here and now (or there and then in said future) … it‘s so beyond beyond just TF/M-BTW … literally consider everything she has learned and experienced since then … and integrate that into: music … the level of integral consciousness that she could synthesize and distill into what we wouldn‘t even recognize as conventional music … is ineffable … Absolutely!! I used TF/M-BTW as reference because it's a callback to music "only" times, but in no way or sense do I think that (even with how great those albums are) they could encapsulate the vastness of Lady Gaga... if anything, as I think so highly of her work, and I consider BTW her magnum opus, to have such a solid debut(s) is beyond remarkable, and so to "keep on the same level" would just be... keep on being Lady Gaga herself 38 minutes ago, bxr said: every instance of isolation from the community who generated and cultivated that intrinsic passion—integrated into the technical craftswomanship, creative vision, narrative development, and multisensory expression of: Gaga‘s music This added a much needed nuance for me... but!... 40 minutes ago, bxr said: Oh, the last thing the world needs is music for the sake of human connection through personal creative expression—well …” Whose voice is it in this last part? EART HL I NG 1,551
I've already been moving away besides the music, and even then I'm only listening a little bit every few days. So if she fully quit music I don't think I'd stick around tbh.

I can relate to this a lot tbh, I don't pay attention to or care much about the stuff she does outside of pop music (and when I do find out about that stuff it leaves my brain pretty quickly) and I mostly find myself listening to TFM, BTW and ARTPOP and occasionally The Fame but even then I only listen to those albums every few weeks at most and not extremely frequently. I do watch a lot of her older performances and tours frequently though so there's that. Edited 6 hours ago by imogen2133

Sad as it seems, I think Mayhem was my last hurrah as a full-blown fan. Not even for any particular reason (though I don't like the moves she's making in terms of networking), just life changes and people change, just the way it is. I'll always cherish the last 20 years but I think I'm on the verge of packing it up 2

I felt that way when shortly after it came out and still largely do. I do pay attention to what she is doing every now and then but I wouldn't say I am as invested as I used to be that's for sure.
