I'd listen to her music, that exists, but idk if I'd care to follow her films and make up ventures. All of her acting gigs were part of objectively bad movies, I don't use make up and don't get me started with the Michael mess of a startup that she kinda got dragged into.. It's such a blow in her image as a creative powerhouse.. like she has this immense talent that she sometime just wastes away on nonsense  I wish Haus Labs at least was like a creative project but it all looks so bland and uninspired, especially in the packaging.

I can at least vouch that the blush cream stick and blush powder are gorgeous and of great quality, even for the price. Have I helped settle things now?

I'm sure the quality is great, but the image of the company is so minimalist, clean and stuff that I really do not connect that with Gaga herself. 

As for ASIB; I found it kind of boring overall, but I'm a fan of Thrillers, horror and comedy so perhaps I'm not the right audience. I just found the older versions of a bit nicer in the cinematic sense.

You betcha!  Though we're already speculating/analyzing every detail like crazy and I don't see her quitting anytime soon.

Can I just say I love your whole post though? The waves of emotions crashing down on me reading this premise I had myself were oddly similar or in tune with yours if you will.  I almost dodged a semi-existential mini crisis. Let's keep the nightmares at bay, together! Well, I have insomnia so that shouldn't be too hard but guaranteed this is the first thing I dream about in 48 hours lol.

Nah, I get you, it looks like lab equipment from the outside! Meanwhile Charlotte Tillbury brought back art deco glamour cases for everything for just a few dollars/quid/euros extra and Marc Jacobs is running around making fake balloon animal containers and adding glittery falling stars on his single eyeshadows and other toy-like kitschy lunacy. I was just talking quality - at least it's something! But is it Gaga? Nope, agreed.

I was surprised by my enjoyment of ASIB. I prefer thrillers (psychological or existential especially), (mostly British) comedies, immersive atmospheric drama, uncategorizable uniqueness and high-concept dystopian/cyberpunk sci-fi... Talk about eclectic!

But I definitely liked this one a lot more than the '76 Streisand ASIB. It felt snappier, more unpredictable (well, you know, within bounds) and more of a reimagining than "famous man plucks debutante out of obscurity; famous man resents said woman for enjoying succes; man drowns himself in sea" because I felt no real jealousy, I felt disappointment from an alcoholic who thought his codependent partner would be his twin (codependent partners of addicts struggle with a lot of guilt but due to low self-confidence will both enable and sabotage their partner's addiction in equal measure). Then his guilt and shame spiral for "holding her back" started. Gaga navigated all of this with the restraint and nuance/intensity required imo and their on-screen chemistry was great. I found this a more nuanced portrait and to me the fantastic music sealed the deal. Anyhow, just my two cents!

Well she also used to say in interviews in 2008/09 that she would be talking to those same interviewers in the same location in 10 years but now most of those shows don't exist anymore or Gaga hasn't seen them since 2008/09 so I wouldn't take things she says like that so seriously/at face value

I would still watch her acting ventures but would not consider myself a “fan” in the same way. I would just be a fan the way I am of Meryl Streep. I have not purchased haus labs since the rebrand. I preferred the og line. This whole clean beauty trend is actually a turn-off so I’m not even acknowledging whatever this skincare journey is. Call me when she’s making goat milk stuff and I’ll consider it lol

Well it would depend on how good the music is I guess, but then again I already don't care about all that other stuff you listed so it wouldn't be a big loss if she quit all that stuff.

I mean if she quit music, yeah no I won't be a fan. If she wants to explore other things, and if that makes her happy, well, that makes me happy too? (Unless is some weird unethical bs). Not that I think she is quitting music, BUT if she were, she already has made so many great albums (minus Joanne) so I think we will be fine.

 for real. But even if like, whatever happens, it wouldn't nor couldn't erase the Lady Gaga era/legacy (2007-2026?). And after all sometimes a story has no end!

But, just as much as the music is intrinsic to Lady Gaga, so is the acting/theatrical nature of hers, and that's a hill I'll die on. Without the characterization of her persona and the performances, would the music feel, or even be, the same? 

What I mean is that I find OP's prompt to be out of character because, for Lady Gaga, acting is closer to her core (like singing and playing the piano) than to whatever business stuff she'd get into.

WOW … pantheonic echelon level unlocked … I don‘t even know why (do I ever ) … but actually considering a Gaga music project where she dedicated undivided intentional attention to the music itself, here and now (or there and then in said future) … it‘s so beyond beyond just TF/M-BTW … literally consider everything she has learned and experienced since then … and integrate that into: music … the level of integral consciousness that she could synthesize and distill into what we wouldn‘t even recognize as conventional music … is ineffable …

Going from the hypothetical context of the thread question … just think … every Silicon Valley VC fundraiser, every cosmetic marketing meeting, every corporate sponsorship negotiation, every pharma product R&D deep dive, every Hollywood production table read, every political black-tie event, the audience / consumer / market psychology embedded in every “side project” profit point, every instance of isolation from the community who generated and cultivated that intrinsic passion—integrated into the technical craftswomanship, creative vision, narrative development, and multisensory expression of: Gaga‘s music

Instead of “Oh, nope … sorry Gags, can‘t make money off that with music—but, we could probably find a way to work it into the next ad for that corporate sponsor who‘s been calling;” it would be “Oh, nope ; sorry guys, can‘t manipulate that data set into the next Shopify iteration—but, I know exactly how to blend it into the bridge for that last track we workshopped … maybe translate the code into a visual mapping projection for the interlude fade … Oh, the last thing the world needs is music for the sake of human connection through personal creative expression—well …”

TL;DR: If Gaga unironically actually and truly went undivided intentional attention on a music project, at this point in her life and career, the result would be an evolved creative medium in form and function

But, honestly this was just riffing salt grains into the airwaves … none of this ever really seems to make sense in pixels on the page … but fun hypotheticals to consider all the same
