PartySick 175,779
Mini rant. I find the discourse interesting around the topic of Jewish support. In New York, Democrats' share of the Jewish vote has fallen by ~30% since 2024, attributed to the party's turn away from Israel support and favoring of candidates like Mamdani. And when media types talk about it, it's "the Democratic party has lost its way" I'm old enough to remember the mini-revolt from Arab communities after Biden called himself a zionist and both he and Harris met the genocide in Gaza with inadequate responses. Then, the common narrative was "Arab Americans are being unreasonable" Just interesting is all I guess if nearly half of Jews would rather support the folks that march with tiki torches chanting antisemitic mantras than the party that supports Jews and Israel but has decided it can't support the wanton cruelty and death in Gaza...more power to 'em They can chill with the immigrant hating immigrants, log cabin gays, and token blacks while their rights, security, and equity is slowly stripped away.
