During 2020 I would be out til after midnight delivering ballots to make sure nothing would be delayed. It is still safe and secure but if you do choose to vote via mail, get your ballot in early and if possible, go to a post office to have a window clerk physically postmark it so you have confirmation it has been officially received and inducted into the mail stream in timeย 1 1 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Between Dan Sullivan not even being from here (us Alaskans can be very apprehensive with people from โoutsideโ trying to represent us), there being a second Dan Sullivan running in the same party, Mary Peltola (unfortunately) marketing herself as a center-moderate to win over republicans, and us having ranked choice voting here it could seriously go in favor of the dem nominee. That said, we will likely be last to certify because of ranked choice and transporting ballots from Alaskan villages to the division of elections which in November takes time given weather conditions.
