That’s where Polaroids work beautifully: all those color distortions make the lipstick shades feel more like a hint than a full reveal. It’s almost like showing a packaging without telling you what’s inside: you get a sense of what’s coming, but not the full picture. It creates that “something new coming soon” feeling without spelling it out. At the end of the day, she is her brand, so she seems very deliberate about when and how much of herself she reveals, mostly opening that door when she’s promoting music or makeup. She made us love her appearances, so she smartly linked that to the product. She’s a business mogul.
