Ladle Ghoulash 54,682
Ngl for all of her technical virtuosity, Mariah basically makes me feel nothing. Judy Garland, on the other hand? One of the warmest, richest, most emotive voices I can think of. Y’all really are sleeping on the OG doll. More versatile, better support. Mariah basically destroyed her voice, whereas I think Ari will be able to sustain her voice for decades to come. NUTELLA 28,424
Idk why, but Whitney having the nickname "The Voice" will always annoy me for some reason Aretha, Mariah & Tina are probably my fave voices listed

Technicality aside, there’s a reason Judy’s concert at Carnegie Hall is considered the greatest night in entertainment. Id say in the sense of overall entertainment she is #1 She knew how to sing, when to move and be still onstage and when to change things up.

dynamite 67,149
I can't decide where to put most of these... They are all great singers, most of them share the top spot but I would rate Cher, Amy Winehouse and Adele at the bottom, just because they're not quite as amazing. I would also put Gaga slightly behind the likes of Whitney, Mariah and Celine in their prime. MACATL 2,142
Based on what moves me most, All #1 : Whitney, Celine, Mariah - they are equals in their own lanes. Listening to each in their prime, one can be my favorite over the others just depending on my mood. 2) Tina Turner - the one voice in this list that truely energizes and MOVES me with its grit mixed with power. Slaps u in the face and wakes you the hell up 4) Aretha - many will consider her the best, but, while able to hit crazy notes, he tone has just never been my favorite. Still amazing. 3) Amy Winehouse - a true gem of raw vocal talent. It oozed from her so naturally. U can tell no training was necessary. 4) Judy Garland - rich tone and powerful belts like no other. 5) Cher - truly iconic, unmistakable, love-it-or-hate-it voice. Personally, I love it. So much emotion and personality, and underrated power. Her national anthem is absolutely one of my faves. 7) Gaga - Gaga’s voice is a sweet spot for me. Gorgeous tone, versatile as all get out and can be quite powerful (sometimes she overreaches though). 8) Adele - shes wonderful, but I can’t listen to her for very long periods. 9) Ariana - VERY talented, but missing depth and emotion for me. Shes Mariah VERY light, and her poor enunciation really annoys me. You’re missing Barbra Streisand and Chaka Khan on this list.
NUTELLA 28,424
Random (& grim) shout out to Merry Clayton. She's no where near as famous as the other women you listed, but her vocal contribution to one single song in particular is legendary. She was pregnant at the time & called into the recording studio (woken up in the middle of the night) to feature on Gimme Shelter w Rolling Stones. They only did a few takes. Her big solo is short (2:43 - 3:10), but she put so much into it that she ended up suffering a miscarriage because of it. So ****ing sad. But it gives you chills. One of the creepiest, most powerful music moments I can think of Edited 3 hours ago by NUTELLA
MOT 3,624
Gaga number 1 for me. I like her voice the most. Whitney and Judy fight it out for number 2. Amy and Mariah are the two that just don't do it for me.
