I can definitely see your position; to be fair, Michael‘s only public stance (I think?) is that he had a “really, really great experience” working with a supremacist within a business capacity, so maybe he‘s just neutral given his personal experiences.

I think as the company grows in its public awareness and starts to gain traction, they’ll probably start establishing their social vision or I guess the company’s stance on social issues (likely starting with the medical science and tech industry spaces though, but depending on their messaging approach or Comms strategy, they might be more open to entering dialogue about the larger cultural landscape) … ? But/and, again, we’re all just learning this stuff as we go along … so I guess we’ll find out together in due time

Lightspeed, one of Outer Bio’s backers, has a major Israeli operation and a huge portfolio of Israeli tech. It also backs Helsing, the European AI warfare company, and Castelion, a literal weapons manufacturer developing mass-produced hypersonic strike missiles for the Pentagon. Lightspeed has invested in Castelion from its earliest rounds and in every round since. Castelion just raised another $1 BILLION to scale its hypersonic Blackbeard missile and longer-range strike systems.

So in reality, it's still not good, as there's still a connection and the investor's money being funnelled into the company. This is disappointing

I hate everything about this. But especially the people going off about how unethical the skin research is are super annoying. The real problem lies in the investors and their ties to inhumane institutions.
