I guess it’s the difference between “medical AI” and “generative AI” and my flat out hatred of “generative AI” is bleeding out into all of it. I guess that’s a case people have to be more clear on. This is a common misconception about AI. Imagine a researcher tasked with reviewing thousands of scientific papers before applying those findings to formulation and lab testing. That same researcher becomes exponentially faster when AI filters and synthesizes only the relevant literature for them to evaluate. The same applies to interpolating data, analyzing test results, and predicting outcomes. It's not about autonomous AI operating entirely behind the scenes to replace the scientist; it's about researchers using AI as a force multiplier to accelerate discoveries by orders of magnitude. This is especially prominent in oncology and drug discovery, where AI simulations screen target compounds and model biological interactions in silico (the computational equivalent to in vitro and in vivo). This cuts down early laboratory trial-and-error before candidates advance to clinical trials, drastically reducing toxicity risks and off-target side effects.

nATAH 57,476
how can people say this feels unlike her when in her debut years, she was out there promoting god knows everything, including the unintentional prototype of the very well hated Meta Glasses (the GL20s) nobody had an issue with it back then but for some reason, y'all have decided to become completely anti-capitalist after investing in her capitalist career for years you guys get mad when she doesn't promote, sell and make money but then you guys get mad when she... promotes, sells and makes money "but i can enjoy the music" fine, but it's still the same thing, it's a product that it marketed and pushed to make money. mother, what must i do?

Ilia Malinin 3,025
AUTOMATION AI IS NOT GENERATIVE AI. i say this as someone who despises generative ai, being that i'm a graphic designer by trade. PLEASE stop doomposting. everyone keeps saying "oh, he's back, he's back!" but the truth is i never left! 1
angelduuh 562
At first I thought it was bad but after reading a little bit, this seems it's helpful and with benefit people. I trust in Gaga that AI use can be good in the right hands.
Filthy Pout 56
This is so fascinating to me. It's actually a relatively simple idea but this could be the start to something even bigger in the future! Think about it, right now their probably starting with testing chemicals and products for various things like aging or different skin disorders. But I can totally see this moving into finding cures and solutions to things like Burns or skin cancer which is seriously on the rise! This is exactly where AI can be utilized for the better, Its not replacing scientists, it's assisting them and helping their research.

The glasses were commercial but it still fit into the thesis of who she is as an artist, merging technology and fashion. We were able to connect to it because it felt a prop from the era and an extention of her persona as Gaga. Also supporting her creative output as an artist is not the same thing as supporting a corporate B2B designed to develop patents for pharmaceutical conglomerates. People find this new venture jarring and understandably so. It comes across as her attaching her brand to an Ai lab spearheaded by her tech exec fiancé where she plays the role of a board member. There's no artistic expression here, its all about a asset growth For me, wanting music to be promoted and be successful is about wanting her art to be celebrated as it should be, and not putting more money in her purse.
