Well... This is actually a good point BUT there are 2 things here: even if a company use AI, they should still have humans involved in reviewing data and such things.

And second, we're talking about AI used in science here, which is a very specific area with very specific needs that a machine can achieve and predict faster than a human. And we don't even know to what extent AI is used in this new company. Even with that, I bet they at least considered having humans reviewing Ai's output as they should

This is great for Gaga. She’s on the board of directors not a full time employee like Michael so it won’t take all of her time. And the way I see it, the more money she makes from her business ventures the less commercial pressure it puts on her art so she has more freedom to do the work she wants to

Cause it may actually be that  but hey, it directly helps Haus Labs (which is Gaga's) to develop and sell more products, they might be researching something that might help her fybromyalgia condition, they are introducing something that completely avoids animal testing in science development + those coins might fund LG8. So we're all winning here

I get that Michael is who she loves and that’s for her. But I can’t help but feel he has kind of taken her away from her.

 

I really hate admitting that. But after Mayhem’s entire direction went different because of him, and she started having him as a co-collaborator on everything, and then he basically just really influences everything. It just doesn’t feel she can be her own person. Like where is Lady Gaga by herself? I never felt like Jay-Z took from Beyonce or Travis took from Rihanna. This feels wrong. 
 

I hope she still writes without him in the future. She used to be very adamant about a woman being independent and her own thing without a man. And now I feel like the opposite has happened. Idk. I’m also not saying Michael is bad or anything by the way. I’m saying I hope she doesn’t misplace not forget to create her own autonomy around her art and she starts to lose it to someone’s opinion of her. 
 

LG8 should literally just be her own words. 

All I'm gonna say it's that she launched Haus Labs before knowing Michael and this directly helps her beauty brand  I'm waiting for that skincare line and the haircare line aswell

The AI just narrows down where to look. It predicts which untested compounds might do something for a specific skin function, then those get thoroughly tested by scientists on real living tissue in the lab. I am against AI too, but if there's one place where it can actually be useful, it is in research. 

No I never thought that. I guess it’s the difference between “medical AI” and “generative AI” and my flat out hatred of “generative AI” is bleeding out into all of it. 

I guess that’s a case people have to be more clear on.

That being said, I wish them the best. Just because I don’t agree doesn’t mean I’m gonna attack her or whatever but it’s just disappointing to me. Invest in real people real science not machines, unless the AI keeps the skin alive longer? Who regulates this, the FDA? 

This is exactly how it should be. AI is definitely more efficient in predicting, cataloging and filtering data but it should always come with a group of humans reviewing its output

AI models are becoming widespread across industries. Nearly every major brand behind your favorite products uses machine learning in some capacity. How they apply it varies: many use recommendation engines for cross-selling like suggesting a serum when you buy a moisturizer, while others rely on predictive models to evaluate the effectiveness of active compounds like this one.

There is of course bad usage of AI but it’s not all of it. You can use a knife to cook or to stab and it doesn’t make that tool inherently evil. 
 

having said that, I’m curious on what products they will be using and expecting a youthful mother monster in the future

No offense but 'your eyes' seem a little bit short-sighted and extremely bias on the matter. Your prevailing experience with AI is that you literally trained a model to replace your source of income (some cruel, dystopian sh*it and I am genuinely sorry that happened to you) but can you honestly tell me if there is kid who survives because they built an AI that can spot subtle patterns of sepsis or internal decline in the ICU hours before human nurses notice - or somebody who gets that skin cancer diagnosis early enough to treat it, a human should have been doing that job and what it achieved is unethical?
