I mean...I have a feeling they released this more so to fulfill contractual obligations because why attempt to still push this HIGHLY controversial album and tour? 

This should've been a 1 night only theater event to pool the tickets together...like...they really are not smart

Perry has nothing to do in theaters. It's a cursed place for her. 

1) She was at her very peak with teenage dream and had a doc released in theaters that surprisingly flopped.

2) She nearly got a role in the critically acclaimed hit movie The help that could have launched her acting career but wasn't able to do it.

3) Now this floppy tour film.
